Stephen Center to Host vinNEBRASKA April 9 to Support Local Programs

The Stephen Center (stephencenter.org) Guild is introducing vinNEBRASKA Wine Tasting and Grand Auction on Saturday, April 9, at 5 p.m. as their annual fundraising event. This event will replace the annual CRUISE AWAY event for the next two years. Event Chairs are Beth Settles and Debbie Slattery.

The public is invited to attend the Wine Tasting and Grand Auction at Omaha Marriott Downtown at the Capitol District, 222 N 10th St. vinNEBRASKA is designed to bring a touch of the wine country experience to Omaha and help raise money for deserving local organizations. Attendees will sample wines and bid during the silent auction on a vast selection of gift items and wine collectibles. A sit down dinner and program is included. Live auction items include spectacular vacation getaways. Tickets are $175 and can be purchased at www.vinnebraska.com. All proceeds from the vinNEBRASKA event will directly impact Stephen Center programs which have a distinct reputation for treating every individual with dignity and respect while maintaining a safe, sober, and drug-free environment.

Stephen Center is located in south Omaha and serves the homeless, addicted, and those in poverty. The campus features a homeless emergency shelter, inpatient/outpatient co-occuring treatment and permanent supportive housing for disabled and low-income individuals. In 2021, Stephen Center provided services to 1,197 men, women, and children and offered over 200,000 meals to those experiencing homelessness, addiction, and poverty.
