Tell us a little about your business. – I work primarily as a Coach here at Osteostrong (osteostrong.me) but on Thursdays, I am one of our REM Tech’s alongside Traci Kruk who joins me periodically! REMS stands for Radiofrequency Echographic Multi Spectrometry. Very different than a DXA scan, this is an ultrasound scan, so it only uses soundwaves! Making this a great non-invasive, reliable, very informational scan! It is quick and easy and is no harm to you at all. It is a fantastic way to get a reading of your bone density and bone strength, which is huge!
How did you get started in the business? – My dad, Dave Jahn is the owner of this Osteostrong in Regency. We have been here since June of 2024 and I have been working here since early 2025 after deciding to put an end to my college career to becoming an ultrasound technician. I have been doing REMS scans since August of 2025. It is perfect as I have the hands on experience for ultrasounds and am very versed in doing the REMS Scans here. We brought in the REMS because we wanted a better, healthier way for people of the Omaha metro and surrounding areas to have this readily available for them. I find joy in being here at our center with our members and helping them achieve a long time life goal for their bone health!
Tell us a little about your family. – I am the youngest of four and have a pretty big family! I have three older siblings, one brother and two sisters and I am an aunt to two lovely nieces that are one month apart and have another niece or nephew on the way! It always seems to be a madhouse at the Jahn household.
What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – Hitting the gym, spending time out by the pool, dressing up and going out for a nice double date dinner with my boyfriend and our friends and having a fun night all together!
What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – I’m a planning nerd. I genuinely enjoy organizing trips, projects and weddings. If there’s a spreadsheet or a checklist or itinerary involved, I’m probably having a good time.
Who inspires you? – Mel Robbins, a phenomenal woman who is an author and speaker. She has her own podcast and has a book called the Let Them Theory. I think everyone should pick this book up and learn some interesting science backed studies.
What is your favorite quote or the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – “You are responsible for your own happiness. You are responsible for the energy you bring and how you show up. You are responsible for waking up every day and doing the work to make progress on what matters to you. You are responsible for telling the truth even when it’s really hard. Nobody owes you anything, but you owe yourself everything.” – Mel Robbins.
If you could choose only one descriptive word to be remembered as, what would it be? – Sophisticated. I like to think of myself as someone who has learned a lot and experienced a lot for only being 22. I am very aware of what goes on around me and very knowledgeable and confi dent when it comes to what I know.
What is your favorite movie? – It’s a tie between the Fast and Furious sequel or the Marvel sequel.
What is your favorite local Omaha restaurant? – Memoir or Nicola’s!
