Stephen Center Invites You to Do Good for the Homeless May 17-19

Mark your calendars to support Stephen Center (stephencenter.org) during SHARE Omaha’s Do Good Days, May 17-19, presented by First National Bank of Omaha. This week is focused on all forms of support for local causes, including people experiencing homelessness in our community. The three-day online event provides the community with an opportunity to give monetary donations, needed shelter items, and volunteer commitments to Stephen Center.

“The community’s proven generosity was on display during the 2020 and 2021 events,” Stephen Center Executive Director Michael Wehling said. “We hope to continue that momentum going into the 2022 event.”

As Stephen Center continues to serve individuals and families experiencing homelessness this year, all forms of support are needed – dollars, items, and time. SHARE Omaha’s Do Good Days is an opportunity to provide all three. Save the dates and follow along by going to Stephen Center’s link to the SHARE Omaha page – shareomaha.org/nonprofit/stephen-center-inc.

Located in South Omaha, Stephen Center serves the homeless, addicted, and those in poverty. The campus includes a homeless emergency shelter, inpatient/outpatient co-occurring treatment, and permanent supportive housing for disabled and low-income individuals. Learn more at stephencenter.org.
