Nebraska Community Foundation (NCF) (nebraskahometown.org) is pleased to announce the hiring of Zac Roberts as director of accounting, boosting the expertise of its talented team of professionals committed to building stronger communities. Roberts will supervise accounting staff members, ensure the effectiveness of accounting systems, and train staff members and volunteers in accounting processes and principles. He has two decades of experience in accounting and financial analysis. Most recently, he was the chief financial officer at Nebraska Hematology Oncology.

“Zac brings knowledge and a fresh perspective that can help us improve our methods of operations,” said NCF Chief Financial and Administrative Officer Jason Kennedy. “We have found a good fit between NCF’s mission and his talents.”

Headquartered in Lincoln, NCF works to unleash local assets, inspire charitable giving, and connect people to build stronger communities across Nebraska. The foundation serves communities, donors and organizations by providing financial management, strategic development, education, and training to a statewide network of 1,500 volunteers serving 270 communities. In the past five years, 46,481 contributions have been made to NCF and its affiliated funds. Since 1994, Nebraska Community Foundation has reinvested $594 million in Nebraska’s people and places.
