The Midlands Latino Community Development Corporation (MLCDC; midlandslatinocdc.org) recently welcomed Kimberly Chalek, executive vice president of the Platte Institute for Economic Research, and Rafael Maldonado III, director of human resources at One World Community Health Centers, to the Board of Directors.

Chalek brings 10 years of experience in non-profit strategic planning, fundraising, financial management, and program development to MLCDC. Her passion to empower small business owners and helping people achieve economic opportunity and mobility inspired her to work with MLCDC.
