John Slowiaczek Named President-Elect of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers

The American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) has announced that John Slowiaczek, a nationally recognized family law attorney, has been named president-elect.  The Academy is comprised of more than 1,600 of the country’s top divorce and family law attorneys.

Holding the distinction of being a Diplomate of the American College of Family Trial Lawyers, which limits its membership to 100 attorneys from across the United States, Slowiaczek also serves as the organization’s treasurer.  He is a member of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (IAML), along with being a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and Nebraska Bar Foundation.

Having been named in the Best Lawyers of America for more than 20 years, Slowiaczek has been honored by Best Lawyers as Omaha Family Law Lawyer of the Year for both 2009 and 2016.  He and his law firm have received the highest rating (“AV”) afforded lawyers for legal ability and ethics and are listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers in the Martindale-Hubbell Legal Directory.
