Huffman Engineering, Inc. (HEI) (Huffmaneng.com) announces Alex Winking has been promoted to Director of External Affairs. Winking joined the team after graduating from UNL with a Mechanical Engineering degree and has been with the company full-time since 2014. He currently sits on the Operational Leadership Team and leads project management and resourcing strategies for all industrial automation & utility projects. His experience includes both project management and technical lead roles.
Winking’s experience as the technical lead on projects includes Control Panel Design, UPS Load and Climate calculations, and project tracking and documentation. He has generated documentation including Configuration Specifications, Hardware Design Specifications, Software Design Specifications, Factory Acceptance Testing, and Site Acceptance Testing. He has extensive experience with onsite checkout and testing of control functions along with troubleshooting and debugging potential wiring issues. Winking also served as the technical lead on project management for the 2021 CSIA Audit certification.
His attention to detail, ability to manage complex information and organize it in a logical sequence, and his outstanding communication skills make him a great addition to any project and to the company.
