Carole Kinlow is the proud mother of six, grandmother of 20, and great-grandmother of five. She was chosen for her powerful legacy as a mother, advocate, and visionary leader whose work has provided life-changing opportunities to women and children in crisis.
Her influence spans generations—not only within her own family, but throughout her community and the many lives she’s touched through decades of work in human services. Her mission has always been to lift up the unseen, the underserved, and the overlooked.
With over 30 years of experience in crisis pregnancy services, domestic violence support, anti-bullying advocacy, and housing programs for low-income individuals, Carole’s journey of service has culminated in one of her most impactful contributions—Carole’s House of Hope (CHH) (caroleshouseofhope.org).
CHH is a transitional living home that supports women and children who have aged out of foster care or are experiencing homelessness. Carole dreamed, planned, and now sustains this six-story building that provides safety, stability, and hope to up to 60 women and children each year.
CHH reflects Carole’s unwavering belief in second chances, dignity, and the transformational power of love and structure. Every program, every room, and every service is a testament to her vision and dedication. More than just a shelter, CHH is a launching pad for independence and healing, built by a woman who never stopped believing in what was possible for others.
