The YMCA of Greater Omaha (metroymca.org) and the National Safety Council – Nebraska Chapter (NSCN) invites families to join Healthy Kids Day® on Sunday, April 27, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Stinson Park in Aksarben Village. This free community event is designed to inspire kids to stay active, develop healthy habits, and learn essential safety skills.
Healthy Kids Day will feature exciting activities, including bounce houses, fitness demonstrations, a summer learning zone and sports drills & aquatics safety games. Local fire and police personnel will be onsite to engage with families and promote safety awareness. Children’s Nebraska will provide free children’s helmets (while supplies last) and offer fittings to ensure proper protection.
The YMCA partners with NSCN to bring safety and wellness education to families across Omaha. NSCN focuses on injury prevention at home, at work and on the road, reinforcing the importance of lifelong safety habits.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our generous partners whose investments make this event possible. Their support helps us bring health and safety education to families across Omaha.
The first 750 kids will receive a Healthy Kids Day goody bag. Don’t miss this fun-filled day of active play and learning!
