The Women’s Center for Advancement (WCA) is proud to announce the honorees for the 38th Annual Tribute to Women luncheon, celebrating 10 phenomenal women whose leadership, service, and advocacy have made a lasting impact on the Omaha community. Since its inception in 1987, the Tribute to Women Awards has recognized more than 350 trailblazing women whose dedication inspires meaningful change.

The Women’s Center for Advancement 2025 Tribute to Women Honorees are:

• Wendy Boyer – Executive Director, Peter Kiewit Foundation

• Celeste Butler – Multi-disciplinary Artist

• Jo Giles – Executive Director, Women’s Fund of Omaha

• Rosey Higgs – Associate Director, UNO Service Learning Academy

• Nancy Keegan – Director, University Technology Development Corporation

• Kristin Lowrey – Founder & Executive Director, Access Period

• Hillary Nather-Detisch – Executive Director, Samuel Bak Museum & Academic Learning Center, UNO

• Melissa Neuenfeldt – COO, HEAL Omaha

• Sue Thaden – CEO, Client Resources, Inc.

• Gretchen Twohig – EVP, Provider Partnerships & Health Outcomes, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska

Honorees were selected from a competitive pool of nominations and evaluated based on their leadership, community impact, and dedication to empowering others. These women have demonstrated exceptional commitment through their professional achievements, philanthropy, and volunteerism, fostering positive change in Omaha and beyond.

Come celebrate women who are making the community stronger, safer, and more vibrant at the 38th Annual Tribute to Women luncheon, on June 25 at the Embassy Suites Conference Center in La Vista.

The luncheon will feature keynote speaker Dave Kroupa, known from the Netflix documentary Lover, Stalker, Killer, along with Honorary Chair Bob Gunia. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are now available.
