No More Empty Pots (nmepomaha.org) is helping Omaha residents connect directly with local food systems through its Community Harvest program which offers Community Supported Agriculture (CSA).
As interest in farmers markets and seasonal eating increases in the spring and summer, Community Harvest offers a convenient, subscription-based option that brings fresh, locally sourced food directly to participants. Each weekly box includes a rotating selection of 6–8 produce items along with goods from regional food producers.
What sets the program apart is its aggregated model, sourcing products from more than 50 farms and food partners. This approach not only supports a network of local producers but also provides participants with greater variety and a more consistent supply of seasonal foods.
Subscribers benefit from both convenience and connection—reducing the need for multiple shopping trips while gaining a deeper understanding of where their food comes from. Many also discover new ingredients and expand their cooking routines.
Community Harvest reflects No More Empty Pots’ broader mission to strengthen local food systems while increasing access to fresh, nutritious options across Omaha.
For a limited time, new subscribers can receive 50% off their first box using promo code SPRING. Delivery is available within designated service areas.
