Kids Can Community Center has announced that it will once again serve as a Toys for Tots site coordinated by the United Way of the Midlands. The Toys for Tots program’s primary goal is to deliver, through a new toy during the holidays, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters.
As a host site, Kids Can will accept registrations by individuals seeking assistance and connect those individuals with gifts. The Adopt a Family program follows the same procedures as Toys for Tots. As the holiday season approaches, please keep this program in mind for families you know who may be in need or if you are able to support the program with donations.
Registration is open from November 2nd to December 4th. The program is for children up to the age of 14 years old. Each organization does have a limit of children that can be registered this year, so those interested are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible.
