Dogs bring so much joy and healing to the lives of those they meet and that is exactly what Healing Hearts Therapy Dogs does as part of their mission. Mosaic in Omaha (mosaicinfo.org) has been developing a partnership with Connie Tompkins and her pup, Cooper, to come and do just that for those in their services.

“In the process of sharing and caring for others we all grow as human beings,” Connie said. “Cooper and I are a new team with Healing Heart Therapy Dogs and are enjoying our experience here at Mosaic! When we visit, we are there to strengthen the human-animal bond by allowing our dogs to heal people’s hearts. It’s wonderful to see the smiles and positive reactions from those we connect with.“

Mosaic in Omaha is always interested in partnering with other nonprofits and organizations to further provide meaningful lives for those individuals living with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
