Educare of Omaha, Inc. (educareomaha.org) is excited to announce Big Kids’ Play Date: Wild About Play, which is an adults-only fundraising event that invites grown-ups to let loose, laugh and support early learning through the power of play.

The evening will feature interactive activities, food, impactful stories and a special appearance by Wildlife Encounters, complete with a hands-on petting zoo experience.

“Play is how children build confidence, curiosity and connection, and what we learn in those early moments stays with us for life,” said Rafel O. Hart, Executive Director of Educare of Omaha, Inc. “The Big Kids’ Play Date is more than a fun night out. It’s a chance for adults to reconnect with that playful spirit while helping us create stronger foundations for Omaha’s youngest learners.”

The event will be held on Thursday, September 25, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at The Venue at Highlander. Tickets and sponsorships are available now at educareomaha.org. All proceeds support Educare’s early childhood education, family engagement and health programs.

Educare of Omaha, Inc. serves over 650 infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and their families, each year by providing high-quality, year-round early education at five early learning schools located in North and South Omaha, and also operating a home visiting program.
