Smiles, laughter and discovery filled Child Saving Institute’s (CSI) (childsaving.org) campus on 45th and Dodge on Friday, December 13, as more than 300 neighbors joined the community-wide open house and grand reopening celebration. This milestone marked the completion of the organization’s transformative $46 million campus expansion and renovation, as well as its recent merger with Children’s Square, uniting 275 years of service to children and families across Nebraska and Southwest Iowa.
The day began with a private donor reception and ribbon-cutting to officially kick off the celebration. Following the ceremony, doors opened to the public, inviting guests to explore CSI’s campus, meet its staff and learn about the wide range of services available, including mental health, early childhood education, emergency shelter and family support services.
Visitors enjoyed both self-guided and group tours, experiencing the bright, welcoming spaces designed specifically to meet the needs of children and families.
Those seeking services, interested in a tour or wanting to learn more about they can support the mission, are encouraged to visit childsaving.org.
