Bright Futures, New BBBS Fundraiser with Celebration Event September 30

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands’ (BBBS, www.bbbsomaha.org) largest annual fundraiser won’t return until next year, so in the meantime, they are inviting supporters to partake in their Bright Futures fundraiser. As early as today, you can register online at www.secure.qgiv.com/event/bright2021 as an individual fundraiser or you can gather a team to reach a larger fundraising goal. Participants can fundraise through the end of the month before coming together on Thursday, September 30, at The Venue at Highlander, located at 2120 N 30th St., from 6 to 10 p.m. So long as local health concerns allow, the BBBS family will celebrate and have a blast playing yard games, watching movies outdoors on a large screen, and enjoying food and drinks.

At the celebration event, you will get to see BBBS staff, community members who have helped fundraise for the organization, and those involved in their mentoring process, such as Bigs, Littles, and parents/guardians. Please check the BBBS website in the coming weeks for any updates to this event in regard to recent local health concerns.

For more than 60 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. Register to become a mentor at www.bbbsomaha.org or call (402) 330-2449 for more information.
