The Metro Omaha Women’s Business Center (MOWBC) will host its fourth annual MOWBC Start-up Assistance Grant Ball, including silent and oral auctions on March 7, 2015 to award up to four $1,000 grants to new, greater Omaha, emerging entrepreneurs and women-owned businesses.

Grant recipients, to be announced at the ball, will be selected by the MOWBC Board from recommended applicants solicited from the Nebraska Business Development Center, SCORE, The Urban League and College of St. Mary.  Part of MOWBC’s mission is to provide resources to help promote women entrepreneurs and woman-owned business growth.

Our 2015 Ball is a formal dress Masquerade Ball and will feature Kim Kuhle as Mistress of Ceremonies, John Ewing, Jr. and Dr. Vivian Ewing as Honorary Chairs, and Ase L’Bert will provide entertainment.  There will be a cash bar with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. The Ball will be at the Magnolia Hotel, 1615 Howard St., Omaha, NE.  2015 sponsors include:  Gold Sponsor – Ameriprise Financial Services; Silver Sponsors – Great Western Bank, The Magnolia Hotel, US Bank; Bronze Sponsor – Building Heroes Within, Inc.
