The Millard Business Association (MBA, millardbusinessassociation.org) is excited to hold their 9th Annual Ribstock BBQ Festival in conjunction with the Nebraska Brewer’s Guild’s 1st Annual LagerFest on Saturday, July 23. The event will be held at Stinson Park, 2232 S 64th St., from noon to 10 p.m.

Ribstock was created as a fundraising event to raise money for charitable projects. Admission is $5 for adults 21 and over (kids are free). Local BBQ, beer, soda, water, and other beverages will be available for purchase at the event. In addition, LagerFest will showcase 20+ Nebraska breweries with sampling from noon to 4 p.m. Advance tickets for LagerFest are available at www.eventbrite.com/e/nebraska-craftbrewers-guild-lager-festtickets-338380855247.

This year’s festival will have 10 local BBQ vendors, music by High Heel the Band starting at 6 p.m., an entertainment zone provided by Hines Glow Entertainment, and photo booth by FotoFunSpot. Bring your chair, blanket, and your love for BBQ to this year’s event!

There have been so many people within the community and Millard Business Association that have contributed to Ribstock, and every year it continues to grow. More children, families, seniors, and veterans than ever before are experiencing food insecurity. Funds raised from Ribstock will enable the Food Bank to provide critical meals to families facing hunger in Nebraska and western Iowa. Ribstock has also generated thousands of dollars for Project Wee Care and are adding the Western Douglas County Food Basket program this year. Learn more at Ribstockbbq.com.
