Learn about the Transfer of Wealth in NCF’s New Virtual Learning Series
Nebraska Community Foundation (NCF, fivetothrivene.org) has announced a new virtual learning series featuring their staff and volunteers that aims to help communities across Nebraska better utilize NCF’s latest Transfer of Wealth Study, mobilize a localized “5 to Thrive” campaign, and most importantly, harness some of this unprecedented abundance in your own hometown!
The three 45-minute sessions focus on a variety of transfer of wealth related topics – understanding the data, leveraging planned giving, and marketing the transfer of wealth among them. Each of the sessions points viewers to NCF’s ever-expanding Transfer of Wealth Toolkit which features a variety of free tools and resources that can be utilized by any Nebraskan who cares about the future of their place.
NCF’s “5 to Thrive” campaign asks all Nebraskans to think about the future of the community they love. Leaving just 5% of your assets to your favorite Nebraska hometown or to NCF to benefit all of our communities can secure your family’s legacy and help your hometown thrive. If we all left just 5% to local charitable causes, that would equate to more than $5 billion in the next decade that could be reinvested into education, health, prosperity, and quality of life.
