Clearwater Counseling Advocates for World Mental Health Day, October 10

Clearwater Counseling, PC (clearwatercounselingpc.org) is urging individuals to use their voices to raise awareness for mental health issues globally on World Mental Health Day October 10. In light of the pandemic and other social and economic issues, the need for mental health awareness and resources has become more crucial than ever, and Clearwater wants to use this special occasion to advocate for global mental health education and an end to the stigma surrounding mental health.

Millions of people are affected by mental health diagnoses every year, and many factors can be attributed to the cause, including biological traits, life experiences, and even family history. Clearwater Counseling understands that mental health is just as important as physical health and works to fulfill the growing need for services in Nebraska. They work with clients who are struggling with a variety of mental health diagnoses including depression, relationship issues, grief/loss/trauma, addiction and recovery, co-dependency, anxiety and phobias, parenting problems, sexual abuse and incest, physical abuse and violence, and various others.
