Ultra Chic Prom Boutique Celebrates Seven Years in Omaha, NE

Celebrate the beginning of prom season with Max I. Walker’s 7th annual Ultra Chic Prom Boutique fundraising event from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 8 in the Omaha Ballroom of the Ramada Plaza Hotel & Convention Center and CoCo Key Water Resort on 72nd and Grover Streets.

Over the past six years, Max I. Walker’s Ultra Chic Prom Boutique has raised almost $56,000 for the Open Door Mission’s Lydia House to meet the basic needs of the homeless and inspire HOPE for lasting change. The donated dresses are cleaned, pressed and mended at no cost by Max I. Walker’s dedicated and hardworking employees. Each dress is sold for $25, cash only.

The event will display the donated dresses and feature local vendors including Palm Beach Tan, Nebraska Dance, Gentleman’s Choice, Distinguished Young Women of Nebraska and more! Raffle tickets will be for sale and prizes will be drawn throughout the event.

The Ultra Chic Prom Boutique Fashion Show will begin at approximately 11:30, with models styled by Texture Salon. Some of the featured models who will reveal the best dresses are Amanda Reinert, Mrs. Nebraska 2014; Payton Merritt, Miss Omaha; Rachel Foehlinger, Miss River City; Maggie Thorne, Mrs. Great Plains International; and Taylor West, 2nd Place Winner – Distinguished Young Women of Nebraska.
