Potbelly Sandwich Shop has announced that Nebraska’s first shop, a franchise location in Omaha, will open to the public the first week in November. The shop is located in the North Park Shopping Center at 2056 N. 117th Avenue, conveniently situated near the intersection of 120th and Blondo. The widely acclaimed neighborhood hangout will feature its toasty warm sandwiches, made to order salads, hand-dipped milkshakes and live, local music, which make it “The Best Place for Lunch.”
Potbelly has earned a reputation in communities across the United States for having delicious food, fun décor and fresh tunes. The franchise will be owned and operated by two brothers, Craig and Kendall Frantz. The Frantz brothers are Nebraska natives with close community connections and an extensive background in business management and operations.
Potbelly Sandwich Shop first opened in Chicago in 1977, and now includes more than 300 shops across the United States. Omaha’s first Potbelly Sandwich Shop will include approximately 25 staff members, ranging from customer service staff to managers. The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
