Forty-nine of the top restaurants in the Omaha metro area are participating in the third annual Omaha Restaurant Week, a benefit for the Food Bank for the Heartland, where diners can enjoy huge savings on extravagant three course meals at some of the metro’s finest eateries. Omaha Restaurant Week will take place September 13-22. Participating restaurants are offering multicourse dinners at a fixed price of $20, $30 or $40 per person. This year’s restaurant participants include The Grey Plume, Boiler Room, Dolce, Taita, Lot 2, Le Voltaire and the new Salt 88 and Plank.

All participating restaurants are donating a percentage of the restaurant week menu items sales to Food Bank for the Heartland. Omaha Restaurant Week has also teamed up with top local hotels to offer exclusive deals on accommodations during the promotion.  Local television and radio stations and other sponsors will be giving away thousands of dollars in gift cards to participating restaurants in promotion of the event. For example, the contest “Dine Four Hunger” is giving away a grand prize of twenty-four $25 gift cards to participating restaurants. To be eligible, diners must dine at a minimum of four participating restaurants during the promotion. For a full list of participating restaurants and to view menus, visit www.omaharestaurantweek.com.
