Omaha Fashion Week Goes BEYOND THE RUNWAY for Spring Season
Omaha Fashion Week (OFW, www.omahafashionweek.com/tickets) is going BEYOND THE RUNWAY this season! Join OFW March 22–27 for a week-long series of events to celebrate fashion and creatives. The traditional runway shows will transform into thought-provoking conversations featuring industry experts and local Omaha panelists.
In the first conversation of the week, guests will hear from Omaha’s industry experts about how they are tapping into creativity and inspiration as we enter the darkest days of the pandemic. They will share what has helped them through the isolation, fear, and social changes that have been the hallmark of the past year.
Industry specialist, James Scully, will speak on his experiences across many areas of fashion, from editor to casting director, and the significant changes being made to bring justice to mistreated models.
Fashion designer and Nebraska native, Thakoon, will discuss how he has shifted his design process during the pandemic and how to stay creatively inspired during these unprecedented times.
