New Hurts Donut Location to Open in Omaha
At 5 a.m. on September 30, the newest Hurts Donut Co. (wannahurts.com) location officially opened its doors to the Omaha community. Located at 1726 N 120th St., the new donut store is overflowing with loud colors, real swing seats, and subtle, silly branding that Hurts fans have come to know and love. To prepare for the grand opening, Hurts sold t-shirts that double as a wearable coupon—acting as a fast pass to the front of the line and buy-one-get-one-free donuts for life.
Hurts make all their donuts fresh from scratch—no robots, just handmade dough! Hurts Donut started with a YouTube video explaining how to make a donut and equipment bought off of Craigslist in 2013. Now, they have 17 stores across the U.S., and they are just getting started.
