Midwest Respiratory & Rehab is pleased to announce they recently purchased the family owned business Blair Medical Supply & Homecare previously owned by the Barr Family of Blair. They felt the Blair community was a great fit for their philosophy and that the Barr family business had a strong and reputable name in the community. Their son David Barr is staying on with the company to help them continue to service the Blair community and the other surrounding communities. They will continue to offer everything from respiratory equipment, wheelchair and mobility products, urological and ostomy supplies, lift chairs, wheelchair ramps, and stair lifts.
Midwest Respiratory & Rehab is a family-owned business established in 2006 by Edward C. DeLashmutt the elder and his son Edward A. DeLashmutt. The business started with the niche market of nebulizers for pediatrics and through great service and requests from referral sources were asked to expand further into the respiratory market by offering CPAPs for patients with sleep apnea and home oxygen equipment. They currently have a staff of 37 while servicing locations in La Vista/Omaha, Lincoln, Grand Island and Blair.
