Bellevue Berry & Pumpkin Ranch to Host Midwest Pirate Fest August 24–25

The annual Midwest Pirate Fest, complete with stranded pirate ship and Pirate’s Pub tavern, will be August 24–25 at Bellevue Berry & Pumpkin Ranch (www.bellevueberryfarm.com). On both Saturday and Sunday, the festival will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. During this time, check out the Pirate’s Port, wander around the Enchanted Forest, and find adventure in the Sea-Side Towne. Attendees can also bounce about a bit in the inflated pirate boat or feel the wind in their face on the Heave-Ho Pirate Ship Swing! There’s more to do at this year’s Midwest Pirate Fest than ever before, with multiple live stage performances, hands-on games, free make-and-take activities, daily children’s treasure hunts, and learning demonstrations for the whole family. The artisan exhibits, festival marketplace, and great carnival foods will make a well-rounded nautical adventure for everyone attending. Cost to attend is $10 for adults and $7 for children.
