B & K’s ExSeptional Ones Academy Celebrates One Year Providing Early Childhood Education
This month, B & K’s ExSeptional Ones Academy (@exseptionalones) is celebrating their one-year anniversary providing excellent and God-centered early childhood education and care to Omaha. Brian and Keana SeptMatthews opened the child care academy during the pandemic to provide a safe, loving environment where kids ages 6–13 can partake in engaging education and learn important social skills. What sets ExSeptional Ones Academy apart is that they are Childcare Aware Certified for all branches of the military, as well as accept Title XX, and they provide care for all socio-economic statuses.
The academy follows Nebraska’s Early Learning Guidelines while instilling the love of Christ in the heart of each child. Their curriculum covers all developmental domains, including language and literacy, cognitive development, physical development, social-emotional development, and creative arts. The academy is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and offers discounts to members of the military, first responders, police officers, and teachers. They follow all Nebraska guidelines to control the spread of COVID-19.
