Omaha West Rotary Club to Host Bloody Mary Fest Benefitting RMHC June 5
The Omaha West Rotary Club is hosting their annual Bloody Mary Fest fundraiser on Sunday, June 5, to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC, www.rmhcomaha.org) and Omaha West Rotary Charitable Foundation. The event will be held from noon – 3 p.m. at Werner Park. The fundraiser brings local restaurants and bars together to show off their best recipes and designs of everyone’s favorite Sunday Funday drink and food! The restaurants and bars will compete in different categories for prize money that will be judged by the guests of the event and local celebrity judges.
While sampling Bloody Marys and dishes, guests will be entertained by Omaha cover band, Ecko, playing incredible music while vying for their chances of winning different prizes in the raffle. Raffle items are donated by local businesses and generous Rotarians. To register for the 21+ event, visit the Bloody Mary Fest website at OmahaBloodyMaryFest.com.
Ronald McDonald House Charities creates and operates programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children. RMHC also provides wrap-around services delivered by community partners such as a hair salon, financial support, educational programming, mindfulness and yoga, birthday celebrations, a House therapy dog, as well as healing through the arts. The cost to provide their services is approximately $120 per night, per family. Families are asked to donate $20 per night, but no family is ever turned away due to an inability to contribute.
