Centris Federal Credit Union (centrisfcu.org) has announced that, in honor of their 90th year of business, they will host the Centris Music Fest at Stinson Park, located in Aksarben Village on Saturday, July 27. Centris was the 28th federally chartered credit union founded in Omaha in 1934 by employees of the Omaha Telephone Company. For 90 years they have served the banking needs of those who live or work in many Nebraska and western Iowa communities.

“We are very excited to host a free, daylong concert event for our employees and the community in honor of our 90th anniversary,” said Dawn Gonzales, Vice President Community Relations for the credit union. Centris Music Fest will feature multiple local bands, food trucks, face painting, the Centris Chill Zone, balloon art, yard games and other activities for the daylong celebration.

The concert event begins at 2 p.m. and will end with a special Centris fireworks show at 10 p.m.

“On behalf of Noddle Companies and Aksarben Village, we are excited and honored to have been selected as the site for Centris’ 90th anniversary celebration. It is going to be a fun-filled day for the entire community!” said Lisa Bockman, Noddle Companies Marketing and Events Manager.
