
States without income taxes often see economic and population growth. Nebraska would continue collecting state sales and excise taxes to fund state, county, city, and local governments, along with public schools.
Nebraska farmers are under financial pressure:
• 142 farm bankruptcies were reported in 2024
• 284 bankruptcies occurred from January to June 2025
The National Taxpayers Union Foundation’s November Report indicates:
• Nebraska loses one resident every 4.75 hours.
• That’s 1,844 people per year, the population of Stanton, Valley, or Tecumseh

To accelerate the signature gathering required for ballot placement, EPIC Option is encouraging donations. Funds will hire Nebraska workers for signature collection and statewide outreach. The organization is currently volunteer run.
The initial fundraising goal is $2 million, achievable with broad participation.
Examples:
• 1,000 businesses giving $2,000 each = $2 million
• 400 businesses giving $5,000 each = $2 million
• 200 businesses giving $10,000 each = $2 million
