Meet Trevor Seely, the regional manager at Club Car Wash in Omaha (clubcarwash.com/washes).

Tell us a little about your business. – Club Car Wash is a family-owned business that loves to present the best car cleaning experience. We do so by providing a seamless process that provides a clean car, free towels, vacuums, and exceptional customer service.

How did you get started in the business? – Club Car Wash was a part-time job that I took five years ago while attending school. I quickly began to fall in love with the company’s compassion for its employees, customers, and community. This inspired me to grow my leadership skills within Club Car Wash.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally? – Learning how to utilize different coaching strategies and communication styles to accommodate most effectively to the employees to promote employee development.

What has been your most important achievement professionally? – Being able to help three young men starting with entry level jobs at Club Car Wash and develop them into taking general manager roles after a couple years of tenure.

Tell us a little about your family. – My family was originally from a small town in northern Iowa. We have a large family where I am one of seven siblings.

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life? – Deciding to take a management position within Club Car Wash.
What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – Spend time with friends and family or go hunting/fishing.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – I really enjoy seeking personal development whether that be reading, going to the gym, learning, or further developing a skill or trait.

Who inspires you? – My younger brothers, both of which are in their teens, inspire me to be the best version of myself because they look up to me for advice and inspiration themselves.

What is your favorite quote or the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – “Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.” – Henry Ford

If you could choose only one descriptive word to be remembered as, what would it be? – Wise.

What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life? – My athleticism. I enjoy sports and was a state qualifying wrestler.

Which talent would you most like to have? – Situational intelligence.

If you could choose any other profession to be successful in, what would it be? – Film production.

What local nonprofit organization(s) are you passionate about or involved with, and are there any special reasons why? – Supporting nonprofits and giving back to the community is a pillar for Club Car Wash! During our grand opening at our first location in Omaha on South 72nd St., we raised money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands. On our Ten Dollar Tuesdays, you can receive a $25 car wash for only $10 and $1 of each wash is donated to Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

What is your favorite book or the last good book you read? – The Dichotomy of Leadership by Jocko Willink.

What is your favorite local restaurant? – Mula Mexican Restaurant.
