Tell us a little about your business. – We make businesses visible to their customers in the places they are looking. No one carries a phone book with them but we all have a smartphone or tablet handy to look up a local business for a product or service that we are in need of. When you do a search for a local product or service, you get a map showing the local businesses near you that offer that product or service. We get your business listed prominently on the map and in organic listings. And that is just the first piece of a full-featured Search Engine Marketing Campaign customized for your business’s products and services. Our goal is to help our clients increase their revenue and get a good return on their investment.
How did you get started in the business? – I’ve always been an entrepreneur at heart and after 14 years of online marketing and web development it was time to make the leap and do my own thing. I’ve learned a lot from all of the great entrepreneurs that I’ve worked for in my life. Sometimes it was even what not to do. It was the most valuable education I could never pay for.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally? – The biggest challenge has been deciding when to make a major change. Starting Get eWired Marketing is my biggest challenge to date. I know that there will be several bigger challenges ahead as I grow Get eWired Marketing and I look forward to meeting them head on.
What has been your most important achievement professionally? – Getting Get eWired Marketing started, and the trust my clients have put in me and my company. I am grateful for that and I look forward to a long and successful relationship with them.
Tell us a little about your family. – My wife, Mary, and I have been together for over 21 years. We were blessed 14 years ago with our daughter Ashley, who starts high school next year. They mean more to me than anything.
What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – I love to grill up a big juicy steak or fire up the smoker for some country-style ribs.
What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – I was a Certified Barbeque Judge for the Kansas City Barbeque Society.
What are you the most proud of? – My family! They are so talented. My wife is gifted writer. And my daughter is a talented artist and writer. They amaze me all the time. I am a lucky guy.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – Work smarter and harder than your competition.
What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life? – My ability to cook. If I wasn’t such a picky eater, I probably would have trained to be a chef. But I only cook what I like to eat. Cooking is a talent that runs through my family. My grandmother passed it down to my mom and brother Mike. They are both incredibly talented.
What is your favorite movie? – I can’t wait for the new Star Wars movie to come out!
