The Papillion La Vista Community Schools (PLCS, plcsfoundation.org) Foundation is pleased to welcome Mindy Bieck as development director. Mindy will be responsible for coordinating fundraising campaigns and sponsorship opportunities, and building relationships with community partners. She has over nine years of experience in the nonprofit industry, working most recently as director, corporate campaign management at United Way of the Midlands. She currently serves as a volunteer with Sarpy County CASA and is a board member of the Nebraska Foster Care Review Board. Mindy is a Papillion La Vista High School graduate and holds a Bachelor’s in behavioral science from Bellevue University and a Master’s in public administration from Bellevue University.

The Papillion La Vista Community School Foundation works closely with Papillion La Vista Community Schools to enhance educational opportunities for students that would not otherwise be possible. The foundation connects with generous donors to support students through programs like 6th grade outdoor education, scholarships, student emergency fund, summer reading, and middle school tutoring.
