Stephen Center Welcomes Directors Eulie, McVea, and Vuong-Wegner to Board

Stephen Center (stephencenter.org) is pleased to announce the addition of three new members to Stephen Center Board of Directors. Stephen Eulie, Dr. Kristine McVea, and Krystal Vuong-Wegner joined the Board upon the departure of former members John Andreasen, Eric Ewing, and Robert Monaco, who recently completed their service of two consecutive three-year terms, the maximum allowed by Stephen Center bylaws.

John, Eric and Bob were instrumental in establishing the strategic direction of our organization for years to come,” said Executive Director Michael Wehling, “and we are excited to welcome Steve, Kristine, and Krystal to our Board of Directors. Their counsel and expertise will bring energy to our board and strengthen Stephen Center’s commitment to helping individuals and families overcome homelessness, addiction, and poverty.”

Stephen Eulie is the Executive Vice President of The Kessler Group, a Boston-headquartered company that specializes in developing and executing strategies that help financial-services companies and their partners solve complex challenges. Dr. Kristine McVea is the Chief Medical Officer at OneWorld Community Health Center in Omaha and has a passion for reaching marginalized and underserved populations. Krystal Vuong-Wegner is a trainer for Inclusive Communities and has extensive volunteer experience with many local non-profit guilds and boards.

The campus includes a homeless emergency shelter, inpatient/outpatient co-occurring treatment, and permanent supportive housing for disabled and low-income individuals.
