Sarpy YMCA Welcomes New Executive Director Katlin Wilson

The Sarpy YMCA Board proudly announces the hire of Katlin Wilson as the Executive Director of the Sarpy YMCA (www.metroymca.org), one of nine YMCA of Greater Omaha facilities.

Wilson began her career with the YMCA of Greater Omaha in 2004, starting as a Summer Day Camp counselor. After graduating from Northwest Missouri State University, Katlin returned to Omaha and began working for the Y full-time in the Child Development Center, Summer Day Camp, and later was promoted to business manager and membership director at the Downtown YMCA. Wilson acted as membership director for three years, increasing membership revenue by six percent from 2014 to 2015. Wilson quickly established herself as a leader in the organization and became Executive Director of the Downtown YMCA in 2015.

“I chose to work for the Y because I am able to be part of a bigger picture and appreciate the opportunity to give back in our work each day,” Wilson stated about her decision to transition from the Downtown YMCA to the Sarpy YMCA, “I’m looking forward to continuing to foster current relationships as well as building new ones and strengthening our community together as a team.”

Wilson’s first day at the Sarpy YMCA was Monday, September 26.
