Project Harmony (www.projectharmony.com) would like to congratulate their outstanding leader, Deb Anderson, Ph.D., recently recognized through the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO).

Each spring, the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice hosts a scholarship and awards luncheon to recognize the achievements of the school’s alumni, faculty and students.  Deb Anderson, Ph.D. was recognized this spring through the UNO College of Public Affairs and Community Service’s Alumni Award for Excellence in Public Service. Anderson is director of “Connections,” a newly-created mental health program for children and families at Project Harmony.  Prior to her current position, she served as Director of Training and Coordination, having trained more than 30,000 students and professionals since 2007.  Before her work at Project Harmony, Anderson served as a professor of social work at both UNO and Creighton University.

Project Harmony (www.projectharmony.com) is a non-profit, community-based organization that has served more than 22,000 children during the past 17 years by providing a child friendly environment in which specially-trained professionals work together to assess, investigate, and resolve child abuse cases.
