The Computer Science and Engineering Department at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) inducted Professional Research Consultants, Inc., President and CEO Joe Inguanzo, Ph.D., into its Nebraska Hall of Computing.

The Hall of Computing inducted Dr. Inguanzo and his fellow honorees during a ceremony on April 10 at the Cornhusker Hotel in Lincoln, NE. This year’s inductees are individuals with deep ties to Nebraska who have made significant contributions to one or more of the fields of computer and information science and engineering, the development and utilization of computing technology and computing education.

In 1980, Inguanzo co-founded Professional Research Consultants, Inc., also known as “PRC,” with his wife Joyce and two close friends – all UNL alums. Driven by his vision of helping hospitals and healthcare networks use custom research to achieve excellence, PRC is now the industry’s largest, privately held, minority-owned, healthcare-exclusive custom market research consultancy. The company employs nearly 1,000 people in its Omaha, NE headquarters.

Professional Research Consultants, Inc. (PRC) brings excellence to healthcare through custom market research. It remains the largest privately held market research firm dedicated solely to the healthcare industry. In addition to being a certified vendor for government-mandated CAHPS surveys, PRC also provides custom research services that measure community perceptions, brand positions, patient experience, physician alignment and employee engagement.
