Nebraska Community Foundation (NebraskaHometown.org) is pleased to welcome Angela Zimmer to its staff with the creation of a new position to better serve its growing statewide family of affiliated funds.
Angela Zimmer is the general counsel for Nebraska Community Foundation. Zimmer provides legal guidance on a variety of matters including NCF policies, fund agreements, contracts, and risk management. She also ensures NCF adheres to the National Standards for Community Foundations and assists with human resources.
Prior to joining NCF, Zimmer worked as legal counsel for the nonprofit corporation, Community Development Institute, where she provided legal advice to a variety of staff serving Head Start programs throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. Additionally, she worked in private practice for the Omaha, Nebraska law firm, Berkshire & Burmeister and clerked for the 8th Judicial District Court in Torrington, Wyoming.
