Millard Public Schools Foundation Board of Directors Appoints Ross Jernstrom

Ross Jernstrom has joined the Millard Public Schools Foundation (www.mpsfoundation.org) Board of Directors.

Jernstrom is the sports director and main anchor for WOWT at 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. For 15 years he produced and anchored the award-winning “Sunday Sports Extra” – a 30-minute show that was the highest rated sports show in Omaha.

Jernstrom is a native Omahan and has been involved with the Millard Public Schools for many years serving on strategic planning and communications advisory committees. His wife Julie is a teacher in Millard. Their son and daughter both graduated from Millard.

The Millard Public Schools Foundation invests in programs that bring educational opportunities and expanded services to Millard students at every grade level.
