The Midlands Community Foundation (MCF) (midlandscommunity.com) Board of Directors has named two new members to its Board. They are Dr. Kendra Gosch, representing Gretna, and Julie Schmale, representing Murdok and Plattsmouth. “We’re delighted to have Kendra Gosch and Julie Schmale join our Board of Directors. MCF invests in the power of community, so it’s essential that our board represents the voices of the communities we support, and both bring meaningful insight from Sarpy and Cass counties,” said Rick Iske, Midlands Community Foundation Board President.
Dr. Kendra Gosch, DDS, MAGD, Diplomate AADSM, is the owner and dentist at Beyond Your Smile, where she has provided comprehensive dental care since 2008. In 2024, she founded Sleep + Rescue, a practice focused on oral appliance therapy for individuals with sleep apnea and airway disorders. A graduate of the Creighton University School of Dentistry (DDS, 2006) and the University of Nebraska– Lincoln, Dr. Gosch is dedicated helping patients achieve lasting comfort, function, and confidence through conservative and aesthetic dental solutions.
Julie Schmale is the Senior Vice President and Market President at Citizens State Bank in Plattsmouth, a position she has held since 1998. With deep experience in community banking, she is committed to supporting local economic growth and serving the financial needs of residents and businesses. Julie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Midland College and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking Colorado. She is also an active community leader, serving on several local boards and advisory councils throughout Cass County.
