Nebraska Wesleyan University alumni Julie Anderson (’97), has been elected to serve on the university’s Board of Governors. A resident of Bethesda, MD, Julie Anderson is principal at AG Strategy Group.
Board officers for 2015-16 are Judith Maurer (’69), chair, Tampa, FL; Susan Gourley, vice chair, Lincoln; Richard A. Peterson (’59), secretary, Lincoln; and L. Bradley Hurrell (‘73), treasurer, Charlotte, NC. Larry L. Ruth (’67), Walton, NE, was elected governor emeritus at the Board’s annual meeting. Ruth served on the Board from 2005 to 2014 and was its chair from 2006 to 2010. Dr. Rachel Pokora, professor of Communication, joins the Board while serving as the faculty’s vice president for Faculty Affairs.
