The Omaha Community Foundation has hired John Levy to join their professional staff.

John Levy is the Omaha Community Foundation’s new Director of Donor Philanthropy, primarily providing support and expertise to the William and Ruth Scott Family Foundation, a supporting organization of the OCF. Levy previously was the Executive Director of the Heart Ministry Center. A graduate of Leadership Omaha, he was also named one of Ten Outstanding Young Omahans in 2007. He volunteers with several groups, including the Anti-Defamation League, Project Interfaith, and Boy Scouts of America. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas, his Juris Doctorate with distinction from the University of Nebraska, and is participating in Harvard Business School’s executive education program.
