Great Western Bank is pleased to announce that Chris Wiedenfeld has been hired as the new Business Banking Manager for Greater Omaha. Mr. Wiedenfeld graduated from Mount Marty College in Yankton, SD with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. He furthered his education at the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, WI.
Mr. Wiedenfeld has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. Before joining Great Western Bank, he served as the leader of a corporate banking group with another financial institution in Omaha. He is a member of the Downtown Kiwanis Club, Knights of Columbus, and the Omaha Chamber of Commerce. He has also been an active member serving on the finance counsel of St. Columbkille Catholic Church, and financial industry committees for the Nebraska Banker’s Association and the Nebraska/Kansas Schools of Banking Advisory Committees.
