Great Southern Bank welcomes banking veteran Steve Sorensen as their Commercial Lending Market Manager overseeing the Omaha, Neb. and Sioux City, Iowa markets. Sorensen has more than 20 years of experience in the commercial banking industry. He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska – Omaha, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking. He is also a graduate of the Colorado School of Banking and the Michigan School of Management. He is currently located at the Great Southern banking center at 1902 Harlan Dr. in Bellevue, Neb., but will relocate to the new Great Southern Bank at 1020 S. 179th Court opening in the fourth quarter of 2013. Sorensen also serves as the Vice Chairman for Angels Among Us and as a board member for the Offut Air Force base Advisory Counsel.
Great Southern Bank also recently announced Diane Stewart has been hired as VIP Banking Manager of the Omaha market. Stewart is the main point of contact for VIP clients in the Omaha area and its surrounding communities, providing superior service and connecting clients to a comprehensive range of financial solutions designed to meet their financial goals. She has more than 29 years of experience in the banking industry and has more than 17 years of experience serving VIP clients, specifically. Diane comes to Great Southern from Pinnacle Bank. She is also a leader within the Women’s Executive Forum and an active member of the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce as well as the Western Douglas County Chamber of Commerce.
