Notre Dame Sisters Announces Dr. Scot Adams as New Vice President of Advancement

The Notre Dame Sisters are pleased to announce the hiring of Scot Adams, Ph.D. as the organization’s new Vice President of Advancement.  Dr. Adams started his new position on November 9th.

Dr. Adams earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Philosophy from Creighton University, his Master of Social Work from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and his Doctorate of Philosophy in Community and Human Resources from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from a variety of areas including leadership at Catholic Charities and the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services System.

As Vice President of Advancement, Dr. Adams will oversee major gift strategies, the continuance of foundation and corporate grants for the mission and ministries of the Notre Dame Sisters, including their sponsored ministry, Notre Dame Housing, Inc. and increase participation in the planned giving program.

Dr. Adams is a proud father of four adult children and seven grandchildren with his wife, Rita of 40 years.

Dr. Adams’ is a long-time friend and partner of the Notre Dame Sisters, previously working with them in their ministry of domestic violence prevention and as a member of the Notre Dame Housing Board.
