Chuck Stevens Joins NRG Energy

Chuck Stevens was named Vice President and General Manager for the NRG (www.nrg.com) Central Region Energy Centers, a fleet of district energy facilities that provide heating and cooling to commercial and government properties, sports venues, hospitals and universities throughout the Midwestern United States region. His responsibilities include overall management of the Energy Center facilities in Minneapolis, MN and Omaha, NE, as well as marketing and business development for additional growth of the energy center facilities in the region.

Before joining NRG, Stevens owned and operated an accounting and management consulting firm in Omaha, and has significant experience in the transportation, healthcare and insurance industries through various management positions at Werner Enterprises, Creighton University, Seim Johnson, and Arthur Andersen & Co.

Stevens has a Bachelor of Science, Accounting degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and maintains an inactive license as a Certified Public Accountant. He has been a volunteer and chair for numerous philanthropic events and a member of several Boards including Future Omaha, Cystic Fibrosis – Nebraska and Skutt Catholic High School in Omaha.
