Open Door Mission (www.opendoormission.org) is pleased to announce that they will be hosting their annul Breaking the Cycle virtual run or walk 5K that will take place during the week of April 16. You can run or walk anytime and anywhere that works best for you during this week in honor of Omaha’s Do Good Days. The initiative is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of the people experiencing hunger and homelessness. The need for help and hope is greater than ever. Many families, especially those already living on the edge, have seen their incomes evaporate. Often, no income quickly leads to no place to live. Help Open Door Mission break the cycle for men and women experiencing homelessness by signing up here.

The registration fee is $38.18 and provides a night of safe shelter, nutritious meals, and quality care for the men and women affected by homelessness. Sign up by Wednesday, March 22 to guarantee a commemorative t-shirt.

Open Door Mission is a Gospel Rescue Mission that meets the needs of individuals and families while inspiring HOPE for lasting change. Each day, their campus offers 917 safe shelter beds to homeless men, women, and children, serves over 4,747 nutritious meals, and provides preventative measures to more than 1,000 people living in poverty.
