Open Door Mission (www.opendoormission.org) is pleased to announce that this season, they have a Summer of Hope garden on their campus at 2828 North 23rd St. East where fresh produce has been planted. In July, they will need volunteers to tend to the garden and do some light landscaping. You can volunteer with a group or individually.

If you have an abundance of produce this year from your own garden, you can donate that to Open Door Mission. Fresh fruits and vegetables are such a blessing to the people they serve. Volunteering at Open Door Mission means more than just giving time. It means feeding the hungry, clothing the needy, cherishing those often times forgotten, and sharing the love of Christ! Join them to make an impact each month.

Open Door Mission is a Gospel Rescue Mission that meets the needs of individuals and families while inspiring HOPE for lasting change. Each day, Open Door Mission’s campus offers 917 safe shelter beds to homeless men, women, and children; serves over 4,747 nutritious meals; and provides preventative measures to more than 1,000 people living in poverty.
