More than 150 years after its founding, the YMCA of Greater Omaha (metroymca.org) has grown to become a leader in providing first experiences for families, adults and young people of all races, religions and socioeconomic statuses. With 12 locations in the Omaha area and a 13th opening this fall with the addition of the Gretna Crossing YMCA, the Y spans four counties in two states and strengthens the community.

The Gretna location will be a full-service facility with a gymnasium, pool, wellness center, EGYM Smart Strength equipment, indoor walking track, group fitness classes, steam room, sauna and in 2024, an outdoor water park. The YMCA is excited to bring this facility, in partnership with the City of Gretna, to the Gretna community.

The Gretna Crossing YMCA will open on Saturday, September 16, for the grand opening in which staff will be available for tours, questions and membership sign-up. The Y’s first day of official operations will be Monday, September 18.

The YMCA of Greater Omaha is dedicated to building healthy, confident and connected communities through recreation and personal growth. For more information, visit metroymca.org or call (402) 341-1600.
